Sunday Funday - SOGA

Sunday Funday 365 Boarding style means being spent on a board, of course.  Beginning Sunday, June 19th you can join us for a morning SUP and Yoga fitness class at Chatfield Reservoir.  For $35, you will enjoy an hour of zen and fitness.  This includes all gear and class instruction.

What is SUP?  Stand up paddle boarding has become a popular fitness sport and originated in Hawaii as an offshoot of surfing.  Unlike traditional surfing where the rider is sitting until a wave comes, stand up paddle boarders maintain an upright stance on their boards and use a paddle to propel themselves through the water.  

There are various modes of SUP including flat water paddling, racing on lakes, rivers and canals, surfing on ocean waves, paddling in river rapids (whitewater SUP), SUP Yoga and even fishing.
